When should I order my bonbonniere

One thing we always remind our couples is to make sure you do not order your wedding bonbonniere at the last minute. Always make sure that you order early so everything will be ready and in your hand at the very least 2 weeks before the wedding. This is not just for wedding bonbonniere but also for everything else, so you can relax the few last days before your big day and not worry about anything.

Your bonbonniere will be given to your loved ones as a thank you, as an appreciation for spending their day with you. So it is as equally important as everything else for your wedding :)

Our basic guidelines would be as follow:

6 months before the wedding
Start to look for bombonieres within your budget that suit your wedding theme. Most suppliers will be happy to send you bomboniere samples, so order a few different types to see which you and your fiance prefer. - See more at: http://www.easyweddings.com.au/articles/when-to-order-your-bombonieres/#sthash.MNFxbsso.dpuf
Start looking for the wedding bonbonniere that will fit your theme. If you're not sure, please do order a few different sample before you buy in bulk to make sure you and your fiance are completely happy with it.

2 to 3 months before your wedding
You need to place your order basically from this time. Make sure you order a few extras just in case and also one for yourself.
If you are ordering a personalised bonbonniere, make sure your order at least 2.5 month before the wedding, because sometimes mistakes happen when you have a lot on your plate. You could punch in the wrong key and mispelled something. The weather is also something we can't predict, shipment gets delayed. Things happen and you would want to make sure this does not happen to you.

2 weeks before your wedding
You should already received your wedding bonbonniere by this time and perhaps give them to your wedding planner so she can have them prepared along with everything else for your wedding.
Trust us, when you have everything sorted out 1-2 weeks before your wedding, it will make you so much calmer and ready to enjoy your big day.

All the best!

The following timeline should help to ensure you receive your ideal bombonieres on time:

6 months before the wedding

Start to look for bombonieres within your budget that suit your wedding theme. Most suppliers will be happy to send you bomboniere samples, so order a few different types to see which you and your fiance prefer. If you are looking for edible bombonieres make sure they taste as good as they look.

2-3 months before the wedding

Make a final choice of bomboniere and place your order. Always order a few extras as you may want to send them to guests that can’t attend the wedding, and you are sure to want some for yourself as keepsakes. Decide whether you want the bombonieres delivered directly to your venue the day before the wedding, or whether you want them delivered to your home so you can check them before you drop them at the venue.
If you are having personalised bombonieres, provide everything the suppliers will need, such as names, dates, or photos. Ask if the supplier can make up one sample bomboniere to send to you as soon as possible so you can check all the details are correct and that you are happy with the design.

1 week before the wedding

Call your bomboniere supplier to check that everything is going according to plan, and to confirm delivery details. You can also reconfirm numbers, although you are more likely to be able to increase the number you require than to decrease it.

Mothers Day Gifts

Okay... As much as your mum would probably be happy enough with a phone call or a visit, we still think: Why not go the extra mile and shower your mum with gifts (only if you have the budget, of course). Considering how much they have spent on us since baby to adulthood, giving them gifts a couple of times in a year is nothing, really.. :) This is just ONE WAY of showing them how much you appreciate and love her. It would be nicer though if we remember to spend time with our mums the other 364 days in a year.

Showing you care on Mother's Day will certainly be memorable for your mum. Since, Mother's Day is just around the corner, it would be great to start looking for a gift from now instead of at the last minute. Because we know from experience, when you rush you tend to make decisions that you regret later on. You'll think I should have bought her this instead of this. So make your purchase early and be happy with it. It will show, your mother can tell! :)

To help you, we have gathered 5 mothers day gift ideas for you to consider:

1. Mothers Bouquet Floral Tea by Harney & Sons Master Tea Blenders New York.
